The Consulate in Johannesburg is responsible for the Belgian consular affairs in the following provinces: Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North-West, Free State, Kwazulu Natal. And following countries: Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique.
The Consulate General in Cape Town has jurisdiction over the North-, Eastern-, and Western Cape. This office is equally responsible for consular matters in Namibia.

- Short stay visa applicants residing in Zimbabwe can apply in person at the French Embassy in Harare, long stay applicants need to apply in person at TLS (please refer to the general page 'Visa for Belgium').
- Short stay visa applicants residing in Mozambique can apply in person at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Maputo, long stay applicants need to apply in person at TLS (please refer to the general page 'Visa for Belgium').
APPOINTMENT SYSTEM FOR VISA
For all visa applications, an appointment is mandatory.
These appointments must be scheduled using the website of TLS.

Appointments must be made at least 15 working days before departure.
Visa handling time: 5-10 working days, provided that visa file is complete.
